Home learning environment
A child's early development and long-term academic success are greatly influenced by their home learning environment. Children learn through routines, play, conversations, and interactions with family members in the home from birth. Language, cognitive, social, and emotional skills are all built on a foundation of a rich and nurturing family environment. Regular conversation, reading, and singing with children exposes them to language and fosters the development of excellent literacy and communication skills.
