Speaking and listening

For young children, speaking and listening are crucial. They support child in expressing their needs, wants, and feelings. Children learn new words and clear communication skills when they talk. They pick up skills like understanding others, obeying directions, and participating in discussions as they listen. Children who have strong speaking and listening abilities are better able to solve issues, form friendships, and pick up new skills in the classroom.
